Steven J. Wojcik II studied art at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Fine Art / Minor in Drawing and Painting, he honed and perfected his life drawing portfolio and pursued an apprenticeship at the Walt Disney Company until he started his career as an art teacher in Wyandotte, Michigan. From teaching, he moved up into the advertising world working for world-class advertising firms such as Campbell-Ewald and BBDO Detroit.
Dabbling in comic strips, cartoon art and children’s illustrations Steve’s inspiration comes from the lighter side of life. He incorporates his sense of humor into many of his projects which has now transitioned him into exploring a Pop Art style reminicent of 1950’s comic books and movie posters. Steve resides in Wyandotte, Michigan, where he contributes to the city’s growing art culture participating in art fairs and hanging his work in local galleries.
